What is ther for the womens ?
There is no change at the tax benefit at the higher limit .
It is 1 lakh 90 thousands(no tax).
Who need not submit the return according to this BUDGET 2011
Serviceman who earns up to 5 lakh need not to submit the returns.
For the older citizens
From this year or according to this year’s budget for senior citizens who is 60 years of age or more , no tax limit is up to 2 lakh 50 thousands which was previously 2 lakh 40 thousands.For the senior citizens who are of 80 or more than 80 years of age need not pay tax up to 5 lakh.
Other informations on this Budget
- There will be 5% service tax on treatment in private hospitals which has 25 beds or more and centralized AC and use of domestic centers.
- Service tax on hotel accommodation will be Rs 1000 per day.
- For domestic travel by AIR has increased up to RS-50 and for international travel it is INR 250.
- 1% duty on brandede jewellery.
What are the taxes on garments ?
10% levy for readymade garments which are branded.
There is also tax for investment service by life insurance companies.
What are for the west Bengal in this BUDGET-2011?
- RS/20 Cr for IIM kolkata.
- RS 200 CR for IIT Kharagpur.
- RS 50 Cr grant fo to Aligarh Muslim University center in Murshidabad.
- Rs 10 Cr for setting up Calcutta Center of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Viswavidyalaya Wardha.

Housing loan limit for the priority sector lending raised to 25 lakh from 20 lakh.
